When a port attack is detected you have the option of disabling the port for an user-configurable time period, and you may choose to have the IP address of the attacker copied to your clipboard. You can choose a sound file to alert you when an attack is detected, and you may even integrate it with any IRC client supporting DDE.
TCP4U provides APIs that allow simple use of the following standard protocols: UDP, TCP, Telnet, and HTTP 1.0. The same APIs are available for Unix and Windows platforms. Full source and hypertext documentation are included.
The Internet operates over a variety of protocols such as HTTP, FTP, Gopher, etc. One of the protocols that the Internet also incorporates is the Echo protocol.
