This is an upgrade to the Hyperterminal that comes with Windows95. This upgrade allows Hyperterminal to become the default telnet client for with ANSI graphics.
This upgrade to the original Hyperterminal has telnet capabilities. It can be set to automatically use this telnet client rather than the plain telnet client that normally comes with Windows95.
PortSurfer is a little utility that opens the Telnet program and connects it to the user-given host adress and port. Initially it was meant for the little Telnet program that comes with Windows, but it works with other telnet applications as well.
EasyTerm is an advanced sockets-enabled Telnet terminal program. EasyTerm supports many protocols besides Telnet, such as SMTP and POP3. EasyTerm emulates a DEC VT100 terminal and supports ANSI colors. EasyTerm supports 26 simultaneous keyboard macros. EasyTerm will log your entire session, supports clipboard transfers, and will print the current display. EasyTerm remembers up to 32 hosts and protocols.
Tera Term (Pro) is a free software terminal emulator (communication program) for MS-Windows. It supports VT100 emulation, telnet connection, serial port connection, and so on.
EWAN is a Telnet and terminal emulator for PCs with MS Windows 3.1 or later with a winsock 1.1 compliant TCP/IP stack installed. It includes DEC VT52, VT100, and ANSI emulations. As emulations are defined by external DLLs and linked to the emulator at run time, the emulation capabilities can be extended by any one who is able to create Windows DLLs.
